"Grains Bar Hotel is a lovely venue with great views^ perfect for our 60th Birthday party^ particularly for some of my guests who came from^ Scotland^ Southampton and Leeds^ so perfect for them to stay over.The Marque was beautifully presented and plenty of room for the DJ and for dancing. The hot buffet^ all tasted good though small portions for the price. I was able to take my own desserts and my requests were more or lass catered for^ although no Cheese and onion pie as expected. The staff were helpful and friendly. The rooms were very clean and a good size^ though the shower was quite dated. The cooked breakfast was excellent."

Review was provided by Scorpio Mobile Disco No sound limiter No useable in-house lighting effects No air conditioning No specific dancefloor area No stage area Haze/smoke prohibited No effective blackout PARKING: There is a car park, it's an average size, I was able to park a bit closer to the marquee to carry in equipment, then moved to a space on the car park afterwards. ACCESS: It's quite a walk to the marquee, but it is on a path, not grass. Allow plenty of time for unloading and take a trolley. FACILITIES: No stage, nice marquee but not a lot of room for a disco, so better to take a smaller set of equipment. STAFF: Lovely, helpful staff staff. POWER PROVISION: Not sure ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: "The venue has neighbouring properties, who complain about noise. I was Ok, but was warned to keep sound levels low." | ||||||
