Prior to the event we were allowed to decorate the room at our own leisure. They supplied ladders and moved any extra tables and chairs that we did not need. The menu was structured around what I wanted as it was mainly for teenagers. The hot buffet was a little later than requested and no staff helped with serving the candy floss^ so that was never used. there was food left at the end of the night but that was taken back in the kitchen^not offered to take home. I would recommend and use again^ but would monitor what went on a bit better.

Origins of "White Horse" as a Pub Name
Pubs with animal names such as Horse often refer to hunting however the White Horse has other possible connotations. A white horse is the sign of the House of Hanover and was adopted by many 18th Century inns to demonstrate loyalty to this new dynasty. It is also the emblem for Kent, and can refer to the various chalk horse symbols carved into hillsides predominantly in the south of England. Collectively, these common references correspond with the popularity of the name in the south.
